I think with a warning, the down side would be another 5-7 points at the most if as you say the shorts are expecting it. The stock will start gathering interest after it reaches that point and could go into accumulation by value players. If it comes as a surprise, somehow the impact tends to get amplified and the investors tend to get pissed off more. On the other hand if they soundly beat 24c this Q the current level may be the bottom level consolidation; nah!
