Canstar Resources begins diamond drilling at Mary March

Nov 20, 2012 - News Release

Diamond drilling has commenced on Canstar Resources Inc.'s Mary March property in the Buchans area of Newfoundland and Labrador.

This property is held via a 50/50-per-cent joint venture between Canstar and Xstrata Zinc Canada. Canstar is the operator.

This first phase of exploration, to be completed before year-end, will consist of eight holes designed to test the Mary March and Nancy April sulphide zones.

The program is being managed by Barry Greene, exploration manager for Canstar.

Significant assays will be reported as they are received.

Chairman's Message

To Our Shareholders,

We are most pleased to announce that in a meeting of the Canstar Board of Directors this week, it was decided to commence the first phase of diamond drilling on the Mary March property in the Buchans area of Newfoundland And Labrador as soon as feasible. This will probably be in early November and should be completed before year end.

The initial drill program will consist of 8 holes totaling 2,000 meters in and around the previously discovered high grade Mary March zones.

The purpose of this drilling is to firstly confirm the previously discovered high grade copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver mineralization, and then to determine the extension of the zones along the strike and down dip (depth).

Results, including assays, will be reported as they are received.

Needless to say, we are very pleased to have finally reached this stage in the exploration of this most prospective base and precious metals property.

Again, we wish to sincerely thank our shareholders for their support and patience during the long and protracted period which it took to reinstate the title to this property.

We now look forward with excitement to finally realizing the potential of this property.

Respectfully,
Harry J. Hodge, P.Eng,
Chairman
