Can't say I know much about the situation. Maybe because US news keep it out of sight. But, Gaza is not a country with an army or a navy or even one tank. Gaza as they say is the largest outdoor prison in the world. Shooting cruise missiles armed with bunker busters (Judging by the size of the craters) is not the appropriate response to sparrow farts. In fact, collective punishment is considered a war crime. I don't believe the 1000 claim either. Those missiles and bombs were made in the USA. How much longer are we going to get led around by the nose by Likud, before we & the rest of the world force the warring parties to negotiate a peace? With all the human knowledge Jews have given us & have, it seems like utter stupidity to molest one's neighbors eternally, and expect to live in peace with them. Unless one is religious.
