Education is the solution to everything. Over population, womens rights, racism, pollution, global warming, crime, poverty, self actualization, everything.
But the largest mistake everyone is making is thinking smart and not so smart, when it is really educated and uneducated. Educating the masses is what is important. If they are smart they can come along with more ease, that is all.
I know I am basically of normal intelligence, and yet when I was at the top of my poker game I could take on anyone, a table full of PHD's in math and physics, and walk right through them. I did it all the time, e.g. at the Oaks poker room near UC Berkeley where tons of brilliant kids were working their way through college playing poker and hung out. I played in the large games there against the best players, but usually $30/$60. I beat them pretty much every day because I knew more about the game than they did, and their superior intelligence wasn't enough to beat me.
My software was more powerful than their hardware. Building up ones software package is the key to being smart.
Everyone knows the more education people have the better lives they will live. Look at those kids in prison. Most of them did not even graduate from high school and tehy have little to no concept of reality at all. When they interview them they can barely speak and have no idea what to do.
All of civilization has been about learning. Learning is the key. What is the one thing that stands out about The Tea party? They are uneducated. |
