See if your add ons will work. My FF3 Theme is not compatible with 17, I am still running 15 on my desktop with FF 3 Theme, they were able to get it working in 16 after a couple weeks, now it's officially dead for anything above FF16.:

addons.mozilla.org

After reading the above, they are not allowing developers to play with the GUI in FF anymore. I will update my other computers to it. But not my desktop.
