CLQ....A few observations I've made on the trading pattern/company. Composed this post for Stockhouse but I keep getting data access error. Don't want to waste it ...LOL

1) TD has been a huge net seller over the last month or two. He is either out of paper or he has brought his allocation down to a level he is comfortable with. I really have no idea but it sure is nice to have him abstaining from the persistent bid whacking. The share price endured his selling quite nicely....I can only imagine he was lucky enough to get a decent slice of the 36 penny paper. Not a clue if he is educated or not but he seemed to use the liquidity into the offtake agreement to his advantage.

2) If you look at the trading since the 36 financing there have been 5 spike highs where the share price has pulled back. It has taken anywhere from a month to a month and a half to consolidate from the spike highs and put in a new high. I don't expect this latest spike to 80-81 to be any different. Staying true to form we should make a new high mid to late December. That would coincide nicely with the fundamental milestone of commissioning. As an aside you can also see over the course of the last 5 spike highs the share price almost never....and if at all, for a short period of time dipped below its 50 day moving average. So if you have taken profits the rebuy is right in here. 68,69 70 etc at the 50 day.....

3) We are now entering a period of seasonal strength. Pull up a 3 year on CLQ. The quarter starting late November to late Feb has always produced the most significant returns. The market and jr market follow a like pattern. Once again this could coincide nicely with fundamental developments over this time frame.

4) The Talison takeover. Quite honestly I could give two hoots about who wins and whether or not a bidding war develops. To me Rockwood looks like they are posturing. The point we should focus on is the fact there are two interested bidders in a hard rock lithium company. It's really that simple.... The big players are displaying the foresight to be aggressive in securing their supply....and paying serious coin to do it.

5) Lastly management here has been rather impressive. Really that F up on the resource estimate was out of their control a few years back. You hire a reputable company to complete a job.....and they don't do it properly??? Pretty tough to assign blame to management. Besides that this team has been flawless. I mean even the really big boys can't complete a project on time and on budget. As a shareholder I've been more than satisfied in this regard. Plus a good handful of them have put their money behind the deal. Either through financings or open market buying.

Cheers!
