KOSTECH STINKS. And not because they hyped UMSI at $2.00+ last year.Maybe UMSI looked great to them at the time. But when certain aspects started to get ugly last February/March,
(as I discovered a few weeks ago) they continued pushing the stock, and there was NO way they could have been ignorant of reverse tidings. But have you seen anything negative on UMSI in their reports?
I called them in July. Why was Umsi was down to $ 1.25?
I should not worry,Kostech claimed. There was no adverse news from the company. All was going well.Just that
small caps were temporarily out of favor. Hold on to your UMSI stock because by years's end I would see an UMSI on the move again.
If at that time they would have told me,or just made a hint
that not all was going well (and they surely knew by July) that would have been fair to me.You cannot win them all.
Tom Kosta lamented to me the other day that
Kostech was also stuck with 50,000 shares of UMSI.Tell me fellows:if a seasoned research outfit knows that the biz is
deteriorating,surely they would get rid
of those 50,000 shares quickly. Apparently, even knowing UMSI
was adrift, they kept on pushing the stock. And they kept the
50,000 shares (according to Kosta). This does not make
sense at all.So looking at the above facts,I strongly believe that there must be some strange deal between Kostech and UMSI.
KOSTECH has recommended stocks that did take off.
They are in business searching for potential winners, and they cannot be wrong all the time. But this KOSTECH/UMSI connection really smells.
