I think the problem is the Left thinks Keynesian economics works. The public is largely ignorant about the debt, deficit and looming crisis with Medicare & SS. The Dems think they can turn the economy around by "managing" it and the problem will just go away, the public is unaware, and the whole thing is a house of cards.
