Samson, I cannot guess. We see comments about the uncovered December short position beihg huge, but no effects.
I suspect the Asian rescue package will need 1-2 momths to stabilize and increase the price of Asian currencies before we see gold moving up. Those countries have seen a huge increase in the price of gold in domestic currency, even as it has fallen in dollars.

Once they get their values back up gold will get cheaper for them and they will buy more.
