The optimism about Obama and Pelosi's take-over of the health care industry really boggles my mind. I suggest that any of you who think this is not a Marxist disaster for the United States should spend some time (at least) skimming through the actual bill.

For starters, the "short table of contents" is 13 pages long, so scroll past that and actually start reading the bill. You will not go far until you feel fear and nausea:

H. R. 3590

Begun and held at the City of Washington on Tuesday, the fifth day of January, two thousand and ten
An Act Entitled The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
