the fact is that demand has not changed for chips. demand has increased. firms need to obtain higher yields with .25mu to remain competitive, thus the demand for cymer's laser increases, not vice versa we were aware of kurlak's comments this morning. so once it hits yahoo the traders start selling? kurlak's comments caused the general downturn in semis this morning.
