When I see the mayhem that occurs on Black Friday's, I dont need to wonder what will happen in most of the populated areas with a shortage of food and water. The lunatics are stampeding, fighting and killing over on sale luxuries.
Superb logic, if I may say so. It would go from bad to real bad, real quickly, especially with the loss of electricity.

I need to buy a shotgun for home defense.


At least two, and if you are serious, take a NRA class for beginners before buying.(unless you had previous experience with them) Try different shotguns out with an instructor, learning safety first. The wife and I did that last year, and I strongly recommend it. We now have a "his" and "hers", just in case.
