We are not supposed to remember that the roots of the housing bust stretch back to the Community Reinvestment Act, passed under Carter the inept. We are not supposed to remember that Frank and Dodd made the CRA ten times worse. Weak minded people are supposed to blame Republicans because that is what their media handlers decree.
