Even if that were always true, and it isn't, we are talking about natural rises in CO2 vs. unnatural rises. Natural mechanisms for rising CO2 are like when tundra warms and makes available its carbon for weathering or the drying of bogs. Both of which contain a lot of carbon that is sequestered from the environment.
