QNTM as of 2:05 p.m. et.. Qntm - 25 1/8 - down 2 3/8 (unjustifiable compare to WDC) WDC - 19 5/16 - down 1 13/16 What gives???? Who the heck are the foolish people dumping QNTM which has an excellent fundamentals short and long term compare to WDC which is fundamentally weak?? FYI: A guess analysts (Vincent F. I believe)appeared on CNBC late this morning and suggested a hold on QNTM because of the problem of disk drive as a whole sectors and QNTM stock prices is being SYMPHATETIC to the sectors. He suggest to BUY on weakness/dips since QNTM has a "great" fundamentals but he also reiterated the "tape drive" business as a strong revenues/earnings growth for QNTM which barely has competition. This make it an exception and seperated it against the "dog" of disk drive manufacturers like WDC and SEG... just a thought.. eL...
