Well Miami Marlins fans (such as they are) are having coniption fits about the massive trade.

Yes they broke up the team and traded away a bunch of popular players,

but they broke up a losing team which is not the same as breaking up a winning team. And remember that both world series championship teams were broken up (the first by Huizenga in a particularly nasty fashion). So whatever this is it is not the worst thing ever to happen to the Marlins.

I will definitely miss Bonafacio and Jose Reyes (great player but had a huge long term contract).

And my main man (Anthony The Sign Man) agrees with me.

Gonna take a few years to see the results, but maybe it will turn out well.

I have bought 12 first row seats for next year. Hope they at least can play decently.
