Hi Don, I've been trying to find a listing of stocks that would be considered consumer durables. Haven't been successful. Nor have I found an index of same to overlay on other averages. Have you any info on this? Much appreciated if you do.

Regarding your xoi comment as 1st class buy, HAL and SLB had little gaps off their lows from yesterday. Day trade stuff until confirmed bottom IMO.

Regarding this thread... perhaps the focus on index trades has limited the diversity and volume of ideas being talked about. But where there was volume there was also less depth for lack of focus. The techniques for trading stock and index options are much the same, except that velocity and liquidity markedly differ. On the conversation front, with VVUS, Ike's thread and the spirited conversations in between over who said what to who's call or lack of it, it was like www wrestling.. I'm really surprized Don King didn't show up.

Its all fun anyway... and I find many sites on SI invaluable for provoking new and exciting trading ideas.
