I bought a refurb, $134, last year for my wife and she has really enjoyed it. She found it easy to use and just enough practical apps available for her interests. I am waiting on finding a deal on the KFire HD to upgrade her. May even get in to it myself because after many many visits to the local Apple Store I still can't justify an IPad for my needs.
