Unfortunately, Joan, it's not really *my* G3. I convinced my mother to buy the machine for use during her retirement. She's been on IBM compatibles since the days of punch cards, so this was kind of a big switch.
But I set up the new machine and provide support for it, and I can tell you it is one hell of a computer, especially at the price ($3,333 for a G3/266 64M 24X CD 720 Monitor and StyleWriter 4500. Your husband should go out and purchase one immediately, then convince the IMS guys at the office to buy one of the new Apple servers and load Rhapsody to it. My God, he'd have the fastest and most stable little intranet in the entire office, and for less than $10,000!
Seriously, though, it's a wonderful machine. I've had no hardware problems with it (and don't expect to anytime soon, if my old LCIII is any kind of indicator).
