Good point. However, if we cared at all about the Constitution, which I do, but apparently no one else in this country does, then this would never have been a problem. The Constitution never gave Congress this power. It was usurped. It was special interests (Evangelicals) who demanded that Congress trash the Constitution and get involved in these details of people's personal lives. The sooner we get the government out of our lives on these issues, the better.
