Esec strength is in Die Attach machine. They are the leader in the die bonder market. Every die bonder($230K) Esec ships, KLIC ship 5-8 wirebonders. I assume that they also make FlipChip die bonder since it uses a very similar technology. This confirms that the assembly sector of the business is still good.

I talked to KLIC IR after seeing the news release regarding Hyundai increasing wirebonder quantity by 86 units. According to a lady(Jim is in Japan for tonite presentation), the order was not expected. If they ship any of this machine December, it will go straight to their bottomline. Since I expect(my assumption) most of the bonder order will be ship this months, we may see some upside to current Q1(Dec quarter) earning of $.37. I estimate the upside will be around
10 cents). I may be stretching it but I think the most conservative number should be 5 cents. What do you think?

$80K/mach *86 machines* 50% gross margin*(1-30% tax rate)
/24 Million outstanding share = 10 cents/share

Assumption:
1. Price lowered to $80K to clear out excess inventory of
KLIC 1488 plus parts.
2. The margin increased to 50% since the material would have been
obsoleted in Q2.
