Before social security all we had was charity and it did not work. Poverty was terrible and pervasive. It was heart breaking poverty. Lift the cap on social secruity and it is good for 75 years. Society has the right to do that. Social security pulled millions out of abject poverty. Especially older women. Where is your compassion?
