"Hispanics. They should be a natural Republican constituency: striving immigrant community, religious, Catholic, family-oriented and socially conservative (on abortion, for example)." He's right about that. Most Hispanics in America are one or two generations away from the brave illegals that planted them here, if that. They REMEMBER. The fence is a ridiculous idea. But, if (R)'s are willing to lose their immigrant-haters, they'd gain more Hispanics with a net gain overall. If not, they're just demographically doomed as a national party.
