The fact is, like most developed countries, we're a low birth-rate country with an overhang of oldsters. Unless we want to face the problems xenophobic Japan is facing with it's aging population ( they're scrambling to invent robots to care for their seniors), we need a healthy and constant immigration, whether legal or illegal. I'd rather it was legal too. We're going to need all those new workers to pay YOUR SS, so you should be for them! Having lived among them for the last 20 years, I can tell you that Mexicans are great people and make wonderful Americans. They work hard, believe in families and are fine with getting their own.
