Now Don, don't you see how their story is a lot more exciting? 8 hour firefight, a last ditch stand on a roof top and a machine gun, mowing down the ravening hoards until, with ammo running low, they draw their knives and go hand to hand... While the craven politicians refuse to send help for reasons that don't actually make sense. Because, you know, they are evil.
