Isn't that designed and built in the US by the sweat, toil and tears of the American worker? All they needed was a chance. And our President gave them that chance. Recall how those idiots in Congress advocated that the auto industry die so that foreign car manufacturers, some with plants in the US, could pick up the void. I am glad that the unions saw the writing on the wall, cooperated with the President and made it happen.

Its more that even that...........the Volt has become the whipping boy for all things wrong with a green energy policy promoted by Obama. In the beginning sales were not that great and Rs were pointing to the Volt as another Obama failure much like Solyndra. However, in the last few months, Volt sales have picked up significantly and Consumer Reports loves it. Now apparently, buyers are becoming staunch supporters.........much to the unhappiness of Rs.

Its unfortunate that the partisan divide can be over such silly, non productive issues.
