Technology Stocks : Glenayre Technologies(GEMS)- a pure cellular PCS play?

I think you can link the drop to three events. First the purchase of the two new companies and the sale of WM. This leaves big questions as to how much time it will be before they actually add to earnings. Second the economic impact of the downturn in the far east. The effect on MOT has been more obvious but it also has shown up in GEMS as well. Most importantly the overall correction in the market has nailed GEMS.

I do not anticipate anyone overtaking their voice and messaging technology. They are still the infrastructure king. There is no question in my mind that Glenayre can remain highly profitable. The question is can they grow those profits at greater than a 10% clip.

Anybody???
