ps: I would not play with stuff like this unless you have at least one verified image backup copy of your PC and kept as an archive, in case it all goes haywire later, and in addition you first export a copy of your original registry before you start "improving" things.

Its the type of free registry software best used if you have numerous of changes to make. Always interested if there is something better of course, and maybe there was a way of making the XP part of the clone so I didnt have to make mega changes to the XP registry afterwards.

A fresh re install of XP was not possible for me at my original XP disk is pre SP1 and didnt recognise the large HD drives plus most of the hardware on the motherboard, and I cant find a newer XP iso outside of bit torrent type sources.
