Yup; every once in a while we elect an R as president and run up a big bill.

Took the Dem's Big Bill about 5 years to get the last one back under control. I think Bush fucked it up so badly we may never control it again. There are those so called free marketers who see the Austerity Depression as a cure, but they are mostly sociopaths who care about numbers, and not about the unwashed masses. Even Ryan, despite that, takes about 40 years to get to zero.
