So now if we go off the cliff it's who wins on the issue of blame? Yikes! If that is what politics has fallen to, there will never be a solution to our problem. I think the suggestions that Krugman and others believe the republicans will be blamed is foolish and most definitely wrong-headed. Foolish because it almost guarantees we go off the cliff and wrong-headed because the public will blame all members of both parties - including blaming the President. Governing better not fall to the level of .. picking policy because the others will be blamed for the results!..........
