Yes, they are. The unfertilized egg, the sperm, the fertilized egg, the fetus--all potential human beings. But none of them have rights. Nobody can have a right to the body of another. The Christian idea of slavery and the rights to the bodies of others was smashed to bits in a bloody civil war.

Sorry, an egg has no such right. Even another person (who does have rights--such as you) still has no rights to the body of another person. You must be a complete idiot to think that you do.
