Of course, but I'm fine with doing that by eliminating deductions including the mortgage deduction and the charity deduction as well as a bunch of other deductions. .........Should the next generation pay for our spending deficit? On some things maybe; for medical research that may give a child born tomorrow a better chance of escaping a disease. But should the next generation pay for an aircraft carrier we buy today or extended unemployment or food stamps? I don't think so. And increasingly more people are making this same conclusion.
