They make it sound like it's a good thing that nobody wants them at those prices. Imagine how many cars Detroit would manufacture if it didn't matter if anybody bought any. Issue unlimited debt and snap them up at any price and put them in the Great Lakes forever more. Bullish on the auto industry, right?? Because now that Detroit buys up 90% of what it makes, that surely doesn't leave much for the rest of us!
