Yes, and if we do that every year, we'll have $1.4 trillion per year in deficits, instead of $1.2 trillion, and then 10 years from now, we'll have $14 trillion in incremental debt for a total of $30 trillion. Along the way, the Fed will have bought most of that debt, because the globe is already saturated with US debt and doesn't want any more of it. So the Fed will have printed money to buy our debt and unleashed the mother of all purchasing power impairments, otherwise known as massive inflation.

WR, I didn't realize you were in the camp that believe printing money has no consequences. Do you really believe that?
