I have no problem with that at all. The thing is you have to get an agreement for that to happen. If we don't get an agreement we go off the fiscal cliff. I'm sure as hell not smart enough to know what the consequences of that might be - but I worry that they won't be good and could be catastrophic. Since republicans don't want to raise rates but are willing to eliminate deductions - then call them on their bluff. Force them to identify the deductions and if they won't then democrats can do it for them and again force their hand.

This isn't a contest where you sit in your corner with the winner being the one who shouts or pisses the loudest or furthest. It's negotiations. Both sides agree on the problem so now both sides need work out a solution. BOTH! That sucks, but that is reality in our two party system.
