God bless Tom Jensen. PPP's head honcho loves to ask questions which may at first appear a bit gonzo, but really do offer some deep insights into the American body politic—and the Republican lizard brain. Of course, since conservatives believe in lots of things that aren't true, it really isn't a surprise to see them buying into yet another absurdist fantasy in PPP's first post-election national poll. It is, however, hilarious—in that "this is just so epically sad that I have to find the funny in it or else I'll want to pitch myself off a bridge" way:
49% of GOP voters nationally say they think that ACORN stole the election for President Obama. We found that 52% of Republicans thought that ACORN stole the 2008 election for Obama, so this is a modest decline, but perhaps smaller than might have been expected given that ACORN doesn't exist anymore.
