People of your ilk consider fertilizing the oceans with Iron, replacing the amount that is not being naturally deposited, as "geo-engineering".. or "Oceanic dumping".. You've made laws that prohibit it and exacerbate the decline in phytoplankton populations.


That's a pipe dream. Promulgators of that don't have an idea of the impacts of such a practice. Phyto decline has to do with temperature stratification in the oceans and changes in currents. Fertilizing wont fix that problem. Experiments on dumping iron sulfide have failed (i.e. limited or insignificant sequestration).
