I prefer experienced physicians over newbies, an attitude of mine that has changed over time -- at one point I recall thinking I'd rather have a physician that was a few years out of med school.

Over time I've come believe I'd rather have one who has been around for 20 or 30 years. There is nothing like experience.

And I would definitely rather have any MD than any nurse practitioner, which is where we are left at this point.
