Will he deserve it more than Ferid Murad, tho? Given that so many in the scientific community have scoffed and resisted accepting John Martin's Iron Hypothesis, I think he deserves it more based solely on it being an honor that should have been his while he was alive.. not posthumously.. It's nice that Ferid Murad discovered the impact that nitro-glycerin had on assisting the dilation of arteries.. But I think the folks that developed Viagra deserve it even more than him.. ;0) Btw, here's a little nugget that discusses when that evil polluter, Mother Nature, decides to "dump" hundreds of tonnes of Iron laden volcanic ash into the oceans and how it may have been responsible for the increased Salmon harvest in 2010 in the Gulf of Alaska. onlinelibrary.wiley.com Hawk
