I had an incredible experience once where time stood still and everything was peace and light. Saturated hues of incredible color and nothing but good in the world. This was about 40 years ago when I was going through some anguish over some life events and I was trying out different combinations of anti-depressants coupled with other drug usage. The experience lasted about 1 minute I think as the synapses went wild. I can completely understand how people who wish to give supernatural meaning to singular events can convince themselves of a superstitious belief system during such moments.
