Just as a reference, AT&T sold 6 million smartphones in October/November last year.

Message 27809756

The increase is only 6.7% YoY but that is still meaningful considering the fact that the 5 launched in September versus the 4S in October of 2011. iPhone sales at T were up 2 million YoY in the September quarter and most of that was likely driven by the early launch date.

My overall take is that the 5 is selling very very well in the US. The real question mark for the quarter likely revolves around European sales.
