Yes, very likely they are in a sideways pattern. I have been looking at chart after chart for the past few days. Most have had a substantial rebound since the mid-Nov. lows. Many have soared since then. We still have plenty of tax selling and other temporary trends which can keep a chart looking poorly through the next few weeks. While I'm not overly bullish in general, I do see a lot of patterns which seem to be showing an underlying strength in many industries. Nothing to get too excited about but there are simply too many reversal patterns for me to ignore. With volume in many relatively light, I find this trend change very interesting. Maybe an early "January Effect" occurring?
