I hope >>>> No sane person is suggesting we get to anything close to balancing the books with increases even the most aggressive tax the rich SOB crowd proposes. That the left has been deceived into thinking all we have to do is outlast the republicans and tax the bastards more and that will fix everything is precisely why I worry so much about the fiscal cliff. Look, I'm all for doing the things you propose, but I'm more of a realist than you are and I think some of what you hope for is unrealistic from a political standpoint.
