Still hope that Baxter has some news at ASH, but the other potential explanation for today's move is short covering. If Congress gets their act together on the budget, I still don't believe they will change the capital gains tax..........but there are probably some that want to lock in profits before 2013. One stock that I have a small position threw us a bone this week by declaring a $1.00 per share dividend. Certainly was a surprise.........but I will take it and hold for the longer term. The stock is (PIKE)--- a very interesting play on Sandy rebuilding and similar issues that we seem to be coming on a regular basis.........is it climate change? I don't know---but!!!
