Krugman knows economics is a work in progress. In the preface to one of his books he shows how a simple voucher system for baby sitting trade offs with a bunch of yuppies went array and was thus, much more complicated than anyone thought. So Krugman has the wisdom to know all one can do is grapple with the concepts of economics. And he does that well, IMO. I understand cold how the WWII stimulus and full employment pulled us out of the great depression and Krugman explained that to me. And if Obama had appointed Krugman and listened to him we would be out of this recession already. IMO.
