Btw, I couldn't help but notice that the area around Greenland is apparently getting saltier.

I thought melting ice sheets were supposed to disrupt the salinity of the water, therefore interrupting the oceanic conveyor and halting of the gulf stream bringing warmer water to the north?

That western area of Antarctica seems to be getting saltier as well.. Hmmm..

In fact, it appears that most of the decreasing salinity is in the Pacific, whereas the Atlantic is becoming increasingly saline.
