Because Krugman is completely tone death to the world of politics and is far too extreme to be considered. If Krugman had been appointed and had any voice, there wouldn't have been any stimulus package because he would never have gotten anything passed. Koan, for you to suggest otherwise is pure baloney. .........And say he had appointed Krugman - which he absolutely never would because Krugmans thinking is too extreme - and by some miracle his ideas had been enacted, the loud cries about our debt that you hear now would likely been louder and maybe Obama wouldn't have been reelected.
