UUnet's 56Kbps access is available now via 415 POPs, and that number will be extended by an additional 85 POPs by year's end, said Alan Taffel, VP of mktg and business development at UUnet. BellSouth said it now supports 56Kbps service in Miamin and Orlando, as well as Birmingham, and Nashville. These latest 56Kbps service intros follow AT&T's announcement last month that it had begun providing 56Kbps service in 11 cities. From PCWeek 11/24/97
