Raising the Medicare age will make Medicare costs worse, not better. It would be better lower to age to 63, get more healthy people paying premiums.

Yep. If I weren't busy with other stuff today, I would do the internet search for the citations. But it's observed frequently.

Best way to lower Medicare costs is to permit Medicare to bargain for drug costs.
