Honeywell International Inc. (HON) agreed to acquire Intermec for about $600
million as it aims to further its scale in rugged mobile computing devices.
Intermec shares were up 23% to $9.81 premarket, slightly below the offer price
of $10 a share for the maker of automated identification and data collection
products.
